Ganigi is a passionate singer committed to preserving and promoting the endangered Garifuna culture through music. She grew up immersed in church music, where singing became second nature. Her journey from choir performances, to using music as a median to learn her ancestral Garifuna Language at the Garifuna University Without walls led to then sharing stages with JLAMA (James Lovell and the Afri- Garifuna Ambassadors doing peformances with the New York Philharmonic and solo performances at prestigious venues like the Amazura Concert Hall and Bronx Music Hall reflects her dedication to her craft. Blending traditional Garifuna rhythms with modern inspirational music, Ganigi creates a unique sound that transcends language barriers, performing in both Garifuna and English. Her mission is to use music as a bridge between cultures, educating, uplifting, and inspiring audiences worldwide.
